HouseWorks Home Services Policies

Payment

We accept checks, visa or master card. The preferred way to pay would be to set up an account with a credit card for it to be billed the day after your cleaning. You may also submitt payment same day or put a check on the counter if not present. We will ask that payment is made once services are rendered.

Keys

If no one is or will be present we ask that a key is provided to HouseWorks which is inventoried and kept securely in our office.

Cleaning Solutions, Products & Tools

We provide all cleaning solutions, products and tools needed to clean your home. We currently try to keep a balance of green cleaning solutions and disinfectants to maintain different areas of the home. If you have a preferred product you would like us to use we ask that you provide it for our staff to use in your home. This product would be left at your home along with a note if we are running low.

Lock-Out

Please contact us at least 24 hrs. prior to a cancellation. We charge a $25 Lock-Out Fee if we arrive at your home and cannot get in or cancelled without a 24 hour notice. This helps maintain our schedule and hours.

Animal Urine & Feces

We ask that you please clean up your animal’s urine and feces. This is not part of our service.

Damages

If we damage or break something we will pay to repair or replace the item, we are insured for such events.

Food & Drink

Our cleaners provide their own food while they work. However, please allow them to help themselves to water if they are thirsty.

Gratuity

Tipping your cleaner is not expected or customary. However, feel free if you think they have done an extra special job.

Communication

Please feel free to leave notes for our staff however if there is a chore or task(s) in addition to your normal cleaning please contact the office and speak with the Division Manager. This will help maintain our schedule and reconfirm that we have enough time to complete additional work to your expectations.

Hiring HouseWorks Home Services Staff

The hiring of HouseWorks Home Services staff from our company either while they are working with us or within a year after they leave the company is strictly prohibited. We make a substantial investment finding, interviewing and training our cleaners. A finder’s fee of $1,500.00 will be assessed if current or former HouseWorks Staff are hired.
